My Father Flor De Las Antillas, Cigar of The Year 2012, paired with Baroque’s Tawny & Maple finish.
It strikes a perfect balance, with the light citrus sweetness of the cigar softening the heavier syrupy style of the whisky. As the cigar progresses on to the 2nd and last 3rds, the espresso and milk chocolate notes also offer an added dimension to the maple sweetness – resembling a white cold brew prepared in an artisanal coffee joint

Cohiba Siglo De Oro – Year of The Rabbit paired with Baroque Whisky ‘s PX & Kirsch expression (my 2nd ranked expression of the line-up)
This combination brings out the distillate much better than the other pairings somehow – I’m getting more creamy malt & stewed apple notes, and the exceptionally smooth draw makes it feel like I’m the Grim Reaper inhaling the souls of a dozen apple strudels. Yummy!

2.09 Ex Vintage Tawny Port Barrel, Paired with E.P. Carillo Encore Majestic (CA Cigar of the Year 2018)
A perfect example of Aristotle’s quote “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”. A pleasant experience with neither dominating each other, just giving off brunch vibes on a lazy Saturday afternoon: Pancakes and bacon drizzled with maple syrup, or for all those Macdonald’s lovers out there – a well executed Mcgriddles ❤️

Opus X Angels Share (2014 vintage):
Creamy Skippy’s peanut butter at the forefront, with leather and cedar notes teasing in the background.
Paired with Baroque’s Vintage tawny barrel, sweet raisins become increasingly apparent after each sip, alongside a slight increase in pepper spice. Interestingly, the whisky’s mild nutty finish intertwining with retrohaled cigar smoke, evokes a distinct impression of blooming wild mushrooms on the wet forest floor.
